Richard Kaufman conducts the Chicago Symphony
On the 3rd of December Richard Kaufman will conduct The Classic FM Orchestra in a beautiful presentation of music from the silver screen – classics from Golden Era gems, music from the above-mentioned The Witches of Eastwick, and for the first time in Bulgaria – the theme from the latest Star Wars movie: The Force Awakens. The Musical Oscars concert is part of The Music of America programme presented by Cantus Firmus and the America for Bulgaria foundation.
Richard Kaufman adores conducting film music scores in the concert hall – revealed in its full beauty, these brilliant themes bring pleasure to the orchestra and the audience alike, spark interest in the films themselves and create an audience for classical music concerts.
