One of the most talented jazz musicians of the new generation, Jamison Ross invited us to the elegant and exquisite world of his music live in Sofia.
The American drummer and singer, combining the melodic nature of his voice with the rhythmic nature of his drumming, introduced us to his concept for music at the Sofia Live Club.
The concert was part of the Club Music Jam programme presented by Sofia Music Enterprises with the media support of Jazz FM.
Jamison Ross performed the songs from his debut album Jamison, with a Grammy Award nomination in the jazz vocal album category.
His original composition Epiphany opened the concert that ended with Jamison’s dedication to blues music.
The inspiring Sack Full of Dreams, the tender Emotions, Cedar Walton’s instrumental composition Martha’s Prize and Carmen Lundy’s These Things You Are To Me – a favourite of the audience, were among the gems of the concert.
Jamison Ross waved the audience goodbye with his interpretation of the classic Beatles song Yesterday.
